On Saturday 26th October Strand Social Club is proud to hold what has previously proved to be one of our most popular events, namely our Charity Horse Race Night.
This event raises money for an amazing charity called Dreams Come True and if you are wondering what they do, here is the answer in their own words…
“Dreams Come True is a national Children’s Charity which exists to deliver dreams to children who have it tough.
We are passionate about delivering magic moments and lasting impact on those who might not even consider having a dream come true.
The children we support live in the highest areas of deprivation in the country and are living with a disability, a serious illness, or a life-limiting condition.
These children need our attention.”

We are certain every Strand Social Club member will want to support such a worthy cause, so here is how you can.
Firstly, before and on the night you can ‘BUY’ a horse as its ‘Owner’, Trainer’ or ‘Jockey’ for just £2, or if you want to go all in for £6 you can BUY ALL THREE.
The winning Owner, Trainer & Jockey in every race will each win a prize that could be anything from a cuddly toy to a bottle of bubbly.
To enter please ask our bar team when you are next in the club, but remember it is first come first served and these are certain to sell out fast, so buy your horses ASAP.
The second way you can support Dreams Come True, plus have fun, and even win some cash is to be there on the evening and bet on each race with ‘Tote’ bets at just £1 each.
But that is not all, as there is even more fun to be had on the night because we will also be having a Free Quiz and Music.
